El otro día viendo uno de los pocos programas culturales que tenemos en nuestra televisión basura, supe que la tradicional danza griega que tanto me llama la atención y que tanto me gusta sobre todo su música, no es tan tradicional como creía, en realidad se creó para la película de Zorba el griego. Este tipo de danza nació de una mezcla de las versiones lentas y rápidas de una danza denominada Hasapiko. Es un tipo de baile, que se baila en grupo, normalmente alineados, la danza comienza lenta, y luego va cambiando gradualmente haciendose más rápida, a menudo incluyendo saltos, de ahí su originalidad.
